Truck/Mobile Equipment MechanicSetting/Hours: 100% In-Office | First ShiftJoin trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team. ResponsibilitiesInspect, diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul truck, trailer, and mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, including cranes, bulldozers, graders, conveyors, and forkliftsPerform all assigned work in a safe, well‑managed manner, ensuring work areas remain clean and orderlyPerform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubricationRepair and replace damaged or worn partsDiagnose malfunctions and test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper operation and compliance with manufacturer specificationsRead and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawingsDismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and toolsSchedule and complete maintenance tasks in a timely mannerKeep DOT inspections current on all trucks and trailersMaintain accurate vehicle service, inspection, and repair recordsCommunicate regularly with management regarding work progressOperate equipment safely and report accidents or injuries immediatelyPerform other duties as assigned by managementRequirementsHigh school diploma requiredAssociate degree in Industrial Mechanics preferred or equivalent combination of training and experience3+ years of truck or mobile equipment mechanic experienceKnowledge of DEF systems preferredClass A license is a plusAbility to read and understand technical documentationAbility to work safely and cooperatively with othersPhysical endurance to meet job demands, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and liftingIf you're ready to take the next step in your career and want to make an impact, partner with trak group to explore this opportunity.
