Job Description
Job Summary: The Truck Shop Driver/Porter supports truck shop operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting mechanics, and transporting parts and equipment. This role ensures timely deliveries, accurate recordkeeping, and general support to keep the shop running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized truck shop, including tools and equipment.
- Assist mechanics with moving heavy equipment, loading/unloading, and general shop support.
- Deliver and pick up parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring accurate delivery records.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure safe transportation of materials.
- Track inventory and restock shop supplies as needed.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks and other support duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; 23+ years old for insurability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially intermediate to advanced Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate basic shop equipment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Regular use of hands for handling tools and equipment.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Moderate to high noise levels.
- Fast-paced shop environment requiring multitasking and physical activity.
