Job Description
TRUST & ESTATES ASSOCIATE
Concord, NH | Onsite
-------------------------------------------------------------
COMPENSATION
Base: $115,000--$125,000
Total Compensation: $125,000--$135,000+ (base + average ~$10,000 annual bonus; origination credit additional)
-------------------------------------------------------------
WHY THIS ROLE
One of the oldest and most respected law firms in New Hampshire -- nationally recognized by Best Law Firms, and named one of New Hampshire's top workplaces -- is growing its Trust & Estates practice and needs someone to grow with it. This is not a role where you draft supporting documents for years before getting client contact. You'll work directly with high-net-worth clients from day one, take on substantive responsibility early, and have a real path to shaping a growing practice group. The compensation structure includes a 5% origination credit, an average annual bonus of ~$10K, a 401(k) with 50% match on the first 6% of contributions, and firm-sponsored bar admission if you need it. For a T&E attorney who wants to build their own practice rather than support someone else's, the structure here supports it.
-------------------------------------------------------------
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll draft wills, trusts, and business succession plans, handle probate, guardianship, and ancillary T&E matters, and provide support on general business and real estate matters. The practice is positioned for growth, and there is meaningful opportunity to help define its direction.
-------------------------------------------------------------

- Demonstrated, specific ties to New Hampshire if relocating from out of region
Preferred:
- Background in general business or real estate law as a complement to T&E experience
Bar Admission: New Hampshire (or eligible; firm sponsors)
Visa Sponsorship: Not specified
