Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply Now" button and sending us your resume.Salary: $150,000 - $275,000 per yearA bit about us:Firm providing legal services in the areas on charitable planning, tax, estate, etcWhy join us?Medical Benefits401kPTOCompetitive payJob DetailsResponsibilities and Duties Include:Counsel trustees through all phases of the trust administration processPrepare trust administration documents, including documents related to the distribution and allocation of assets among beneficiaries and funding of sub-trustsGather, inventory, identify, and value trust and estate assetsPrepare and/or review trust accountings, estate tax returns, and gift tax returnsDraft and file court documents (such as probates, 850 petitions, and 17200 petitions)Oversee court matters from the filing of a petition through receipt of signed court ordersConduct legal research and analysis as necessary to support trust and estate mattersCollaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to ensure efficient case managementCommunicate directly with clients and advisorsRequirements:J.D. from an accredited law school; a member in good standing of the California Bar Minimum 3 years of experience working as an attorney in trust and estate administration Completed LLM in Taxation is strongly preferred Ability to write in a clear, logical, and grammatically correct manner, integrating legal analyses into workExcellent organization, computer skills, and math skillsAbility to analyze facts and discovery to apply to statutes and case law on pointAbility to verbally present case facts, legal analyses, and recommendationsAbility to work independently or with a teamInterested in hearing more?
