Trusts & Estates Attorney (Estate Planning / High Net-Worth) | New Hampshire | 5+ Years Experience | NH Bar Required
A leading Northern New England business and litigation law firm, is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney to join its busy practice. This role focuses on sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and probate work for high net-worth clients.
The firm is one of the largest in Northern New England, attracting sophisticated, high-value work from national, regional, and local companies and individuals. Its culture centers on service — to clients, community, colleagues, and the profession — with a long tradition of civic leadership and community involvement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience representing high net-worth clients in trusts and estates matters
- Experience drafting estate planning documents, including estate tax planning trusts
- Experience in probate and trust administration for high net-worth clients
- Experience preparing or assisting with estate tax returns and gift tax returns
- Superior legal writing skills
- Active admission to the New Hampshire Bar (required)
- Admission to the Massachusetts, Maine, and/or Vermont Bar a plus
What You'll Do:
- Draft wills, trusts, and estate planning documents for high net-worth individuals and families
- Advise on estate tax planning and wealth transfer strategies
- Handle probate matters and trust administration
- Prepare or assist with estate tax and gift tax return preparation
- Work directly with high net-worth clients on complex, sophisticated estate matters
