Trusts/Estates Paralegal Needed in San Jose, CA, 1,250-1,400 billables, $73-$105/hour
5+ years of experience. In order of importance, skills would include:
- Trust and probate administration
- Estate and gift tax return preparation
- Not litigation, but experience with filing law and motion matters in the California probate courts (primarily Santa Clara County).
- Experience with California real property tax issues
- Formation of California entities, such as LLCs a
This is a non-exempt position. I suspect the hourly pay would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $73 to $105 an hour (depending on experience).
I need at least 3 days a week in our San Jose office—not negotiable, though I might be willing to pay a little premium for someone who is fully in office.
Position has fully health benefits, plus a minimum of 3% and a maximum of 6% total comp to put to their 401k, regardless of what they put into the 401k themselves (i.e., its free money—not merely a “matching” program).
