Stand-By Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Top Tube Support Stick Welder for a growing industrial facility. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for skilled welders looking to join a fast-paced manufacturing team.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform stick welding (SMAW) on top tube support componentsRead and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and job specificationsFit, align, and secure metal parts prior to weldingInspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standardsGrind, clean, and finish welds as requiredMaintain welding equipment and toolsFollow all safety guidelines and company proceduresKeep work area clean and organizedMeet production goals while maintaining quality workmanship
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferredRecent stick welding (SMAW) experience requiredAbility to read blueprints and welding symbolsManufacturing or fabrication experience preferredStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to work both independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbsFrequent standing, bending, and repetitive movementAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (heat, noise, dust)
Work Environment:
Industrial manufacturing facilityFast-paced, team-oriented settingOvertime and weekend work may be required
