Job Description

Immediate need for a talented Turnaround (TAR) Construction Coordinator. This is a 12 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Gonzales, LA (Onsite). Key Responsibilities: Lead assigned turnaround (TAR) events including maintenance and capital project activities Manage all phases of turnaround projects: scoping, planning, execution, and close-out Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Develop and manage turnaround schedules and site logistics Determine site layout and infrastructure to support TAR activities Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions Manage project budgets and track expenses Ensure compliance with refinery safety standards, policies, and regulations Establish and promote a Zero Incidents / Injury Safety Culture Conduct and lead safety meetings and toolbox meetings Provide regular project status updates to management Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Must have skills: Turnaround (TAR), Construction , Shutdown, and Planning Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (preferred but not required with relevant experience) Previous experience in plant turnaround (TAR), shutdown, or outage coordination Experience in refinery, petrochemical, chemical, or manufacturing plant environments Knowledge of plant maintenance and capital project execution Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills Experience managing contractors in an industrial setting Understanding of building codes, plant regulations, and safety compliance Strong leadership and team coordination skills Manufacturing plant operations and maintenance experience Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Budget tracking and cost management experience Our client is a leading Chemical Manufacturing Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
