Job Description
About the Job:Huntington Learning Center in Glen Ellyn, Ill. is hiring tutors for ACT/SAT instruction in English, Math, Reading or Science. We are looking for dedicated teachers to help our students reach a brighter future!
Candidates should possess the following qualities:

- Openness to working with students of various ages and competency levels.

Job Requirements:
- Part-time evening and/or weekend availability.
- College degree required.
- Type 09 teaching certification is a plus, but is not required for those with Mathematics, Science or Writing expertise (verified by completion of an assessment test).
Experience:
- Relevant: 1 year (Preferred).
- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred).
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday. 3 PM to 8 PM.
- Saturdays 9 AM to 3 PM.
- Sundays 10 AM to 4 PM.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include teaching students, implementing curriculum, communicating student needs to full-time staff, and creating a positive and supportive environment for our students.
- We offer paid initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and our highly developed curriculum. There are no lesson plans to create or homework to grade.
- Compensation is between $17.50 -$20 hour based on experience and level of expertise.
