Job Description

If you are a qualified, caring, and dedicated teaching professional, interested in spending your time working directly with students, we'll give you the opportunity to do what you love to do - TEACH! At Huntington, there will be no lesson plans to write or homework to grade! Responsibilities include:

  • Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects.
  • Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to support student success.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience working with students of different age groups, from preschool to adult education.
  • Knowledge of classroom management techniques and strategies.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of diverse learners.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Certification a plus
  • Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students
  • Must be available to work at least 3 shifts a week. Shifts are typically in the afternoon from 3:30 to to 8 pm.
  • We also have opportunities to work Saturday 9 am to 1 pm.
