About the RoleWe are seeking a Tutor Coordinator who thrives at the intersection of teaching, organization, and client communication. This is a full-time role for an experienced educator who enjoys working directly with high school students and keeping the day-to-day tutoring operation running smoothly.The ideal candidate is equally comfortable tutoring a student for tomorrow’s exam and following up with a parent, confirming schedules, and ensuring tutors and clients are aligned. If you love helping students succeed and believe great outcomes require strong systems behind the scenes, this role was built for you.Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Tutoring & Academic Support
- Provide 1:1 tutoring for high school students (subject areas based on expertise)
- Support students with study skills, time management, test prep, and academic confidence
- Track student progress and share clear updates with families
- Collaborate with families to adjust academic plans as needs evolve
- Coordinate tutor schedules, student assignments, and session logistics
- Serve as a primary point of contact for tutoring families, ensuring timely and professional communication
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, notes, and progress in internal systems
- Assist with onboarding and supporting part-time tutors
- Help refine processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and client experience
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding scheduling, progress, and next steps
- Proactively anticipate needs and resolve issues before they escalate
- Ensure families feel supported, informed, and confident in the tutoring program
- Bachelor’s degree (Education, subject-matter specialty, or related field preferred)
- Prior experience tutoring or teaching high school students
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, warm, and confident communication style with parents and students
- Comfort using scheduling tools, CRMs, and digital platforms
- Teaching certification or classroom experience
- Experience coordinating schedules or managing operations in an educational setting
- Familiarity with high school curriculum, standardized testing, or college prep
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing follow-through
- You enjoy structure and take pride in keeping things organized
- You care deeply about student outcomes and family experience
- You are proactive, dependable, and follow through
- You can shift easily between “teacher mode” and “operations mode”
- You see systems to support people, not replace them
