If you are passionate about serving with purpose and authenticity while fostering trust, unity, and growth, we welcome you to join us on this meaningful journey.About the Role:The Tutor provides academic support to students by clarifying concepts, building skills, and offering individualized instruction. This position supports program and departmental goals and may perform additional duties as assigned.This position reflects PCI’s core values of Perseverance, Opportunity, Accountability, Respect, Culture, and Honesty.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with homework, projects, and test preparation.
  • Explain concepts clearly and teach study and test-taking strategies.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Core Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Previous teaching experience required. Teaching certificate preferred. 
  • Must possess certification of “Mandatory Reporter Training” or obtain it during the first week of employment.
  • Must possess and maintain First Aid/CPR certification within ninety (90) days of employment
  • Ability to work odd and irregular hours, as needed.
  • Must successfully pass the required criminal and character background check.
  • Ability to travel and participate in required training, leadership development, and other events
  • Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of this position adequately and successfully.
  • Essential Competencies:
    • Ability to manage and support students individually and in small groups.
    • Maintain professional, friendly, and respectful behavior at all times.
    • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
    • Demonstrate accountability, reliability, and strong communication skills.
    • Follow policies and procedures and complete assigned tasks.

    INDIAN PREFERENCE, SPOUSAL PREFERENCE, OR FIRST GENERATION:
