Job Description
Tax ConsultantOur client is seeking an experienced Contract Tax Consultant to support U.S. federal and state income tax compliance and the quarterly and annual tax provision process.Responsibilities
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provision workpapers under ASC 740
- Calculate current and deferred taxes, effective tax rates, and return-to-provision adjustments
- Support federal and state income tax returns, extensions, and estimated payments
- Prepare book-to-tax adjustments, apportionment calculations, and tax account reconciliations
- Assist with tax audits, notices, and requests from external tax advisors
- Identify opportunities to improve tax processes and documentation
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of corporate income tax experience
- Strong U.S. federal and state compliance and ASC 740 provision experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting and filing deadlines
- CPA, public accounting experience, and proficiency with OneSource or Corptax are preferred
This is a contract role for 3-6 months and is a hybrid role in Las Colinas.
