Position Summary
The UI Designer is responsible for designing guest-centered online content and iterating the design constantly through a/b testing. Will be responsible for creating interactive content that enhance our guest experience with the Living Spaces brand and facilitate an enjoyable experience on the company website.
Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collaborate with product management and development team to define and implement designs that will wow visitors on our website
- Execute all UI/visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to developers
- Effectively communicate your designs to developers and other key stakeholders
- Monitor/analyze guest online behaviors and come up with effective a/b test ideas
- Create seamless experiences for our guests
- Able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and assets for our developers
- Understand the sales experience of our guests and transform that empathy into appealing, intuitive, and functional user interfaces
- Create consistent and innovative icons which represent product features for an easier online guest experience that elevate the Living Spaces brand and drive conversions on our website
- Keep consistency in the design following/updating design system
- Stay up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Work with other web designers and art directors to achieve cross-channel design consistency
- Analyze a/b testing results and conversion metrics and iterate constantly to achieve the highest performing designs for each purpose/channel while staying consistent with our brand voice
- Consistently meet creative schedules and online marketing requirements
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Work collaboratively with frontend and backend developers as needed
Qualifications
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college in graphic design, interactive media or related field. 5+ years' experience in web/product UI design including websites, apps and mobile device marketing pieces. Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio. Background in graphic design a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have expert-level working knowledge of industry tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, Sketch etc. Working knowledge of responsive design and grid principles.

Position Hiring Range
The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.
Compensation: $86,325.00 - $115,100.00
Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
