Job Description
UI/UX Designer Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA, 15222 (Preferred) / Cleveland, OH, 44136 / Dallas, TX, 75234 / Birmingham, AL, 35233 / Phoenix, AZ, 85016Pay Range: $50 to 55/hr. on W2 ONLY 5 days onsite, some flexibility can be discussed. Length of Assignment: 6 Months Contract to Hire roleFunction of the Group: Were responsible for the customer facing and employee facing design systems. Thats the most widely used design system. We work on a set of design standards that all of online banking and drives efficiency with the internal development teams that are building.Industry background: Design System experience huge plus.Roles and Responsibilities:PLEASE NOTE: Include link to candidates portfolio with resume Create and update documentation and graphics for design documents. Build, fix, and test Figma components. Create dev specifications. Design and test Angular components. Collaborate with content and ADA accessibility partners. Stay up to date on competitive analysis of other design systems. Answer help desk questions. Attend or facilitate open office hours. Attend or facilitate early Design Reviews with product designers. Attend or facilitate design system Design Reviews. Attend or facilitate design system governance meetings. Research, audit, and prepare topics for design system governance meetings. Attend or facilitate working sessions across product design teams to align. Work on special projects as requested Must have skills in priority order. Design System experience, ideally working on a design system (using at a minimum but hopefully contributing / maintaining). Figma experience - creation of components. Product, UI, UX design.MUST HAVE SKILLS Required (3-5 Years of Experience Required): 1. Mobile Native Design, 2. Business Communications, 3. Collaborative Interface Design Tool (ex. Figma experience - creation of components), 4. UX/UI Design, 5. Jira, 6. Confluence, 7. Adobe Suite, 8. Ex-Client or Banking Background Required.FLEX SKILLS: 1. Design System experience, ideally working on a design system (using at a minimum but hopefully contributing / maintaining), 2. Building/maintaining Design Systems, 3. Component Libraries or Design Systems.Education/Certifications: Will look at experience in lieu of education, Experience design bootcamps a plus. Pre-Screening Questions: 1. Please summarize your design systems experience. 2. Have you worked on a design system?
