About the Role
We are seeking a creative, user-centric UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, engaging, and accessible digital experiences across our web and mobile applications. In this role, you will be involved in every stage of the product design process—from conducting user research and mapping out wireframes to building interactive prototypes and delivering polished visual UI systems.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and user researchers to translate complex user needs and business objectives into seamless, beautiful, and functional software interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
User Experience (UX) & Research
User Research & Testing: Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, user interviews, and usability testing to validate design concepts and uncover user friction points.
Information Architecture: Create user flows, wireframes, site maps, and customer journey maps to define smooth interaction patterns.
Problem Solving: Translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive UI solutions that balance user needs with technical feasibility.
User Interface (UI) & Visual Design
Interface Design: Craft visually stunning, high-fidelity UI layouts and interactive components for desktop, web, and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
Design Systems: Maintain, scale, and contribute to our visual design system, UI component libraries, and style guides to ensure consistency across all products.
Prototyping: Build interactive, animated prototypes in Figma or ProtoPie to demonstrate motion, micro-interactions, and user flows to stakeholders and engineering teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Engineering Handoff: Partner with frontend developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs, conducting QA reviews on built UI components.
Design Iteration: Actively participate in design critiques, iterating based on team feedback, user analytics, and business KPIs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Skills
Experience: [3+] years of professional UI/UX design experience working on web or mobile software applications.
Portfolio: A strong design portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UI/UX process, including user research, wireframing, high-fidelity visual design, and interactive prototypes.
Design Tools: Mastery of industry-standard design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD).
Responsive Design: Deep understanding of responsive layout principles, grid systems, mobile-first design, and accessibility standards (WCAG guidelines).
Communication: Excellent presentation and storytelling skills to articulate design decisions to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Tailwind) to better collaborate with engineers.
Experience using design system management tools like Storybook or Zeroheight.
Background in interaction design, motion graphic design, or micro-animation (e.g., Lottie, Principle, After Effects).
Familiarity with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, FullStory, Hotjar) to inform design iterations.
