  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and demonstrate the user flow and functionality of digital products.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure design feasibility, alignment with project goals, and adherence to timelines.

  • Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive design system, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints and platforms.

  • Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback on prototypes and live products, iterating on designs to enhance usability and user satisfaction.

  • Branding & Visual Design: Ensure that design solutions are aligned with Orvix Engineerings brand identity and uphold high-quality visual design standards.

  • Performance & Optimization: Collaborate with development teams to ensure the seamless implementation of designs, focusing on performance optimization and responsive design across various devices and screen sizes.

  • Documentation & Handoff: Produce clear and detailed design specifications, assets, and guidelines to support developers and ensure smooth handoffs throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices, incorporating new techniques and ideas into your workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in both UI and UX design principles.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.

  • Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Marvel, or Principle.

  • Solid understanding of user-centered design processes and best practices.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive web design is a plus.

  • Experience in the engineering or technical industry is preferred but not required.

Personal Attributes:

  • Creative: Passion for solving complex problems through innovative design solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives.

  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail in visual design, ensuring a polished and consistent user experience.

  • Collaborative: A team player who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional work environment.

  • Adaptable: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
