Position: UI/ UX DeveloperLocation: REMOTE (but need onsite presence if required in Charlottesville, VA) Duration: Full Time roleClient: DIANeed Minimum TS ClearanceDuties and responsibilities
- Designs and implements visually appealing, functional UIs.
- Illustrates UI design using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
- Validates UI/UX requirements with users.
- Recommends front-end development frameworks.
- Troubleshoots UX issues.
- Implements Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of front-end development experience, with proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React, plus HTML, CSS, and XML.
- 3+ years of UI/UX design and development experience on an Agile team, showing an understanding of UX principles, patterns, and practices.
- Proficiency with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience using Design Thinking or Human-Centered Design processes.
- Experience translating customer requirements into modern, dynamic, engaging, responsive web interfaces.
- UI/UX professional certificate. (Preferred not required)
