DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
We are looking for a Product Sales Specialist to join our Fortinet team to drive opportunity creation and development of existing partners. This role will sit in our MSSP & GSI team, and the successful candidate will be responsible for partners from both sectors. This role will be a hybrid role managing a mix of desk-based and focussed accounts. This is an external facing role and travel to partners is expected.

As the Product Sakes Specialist, you will:
Work to achieve both individual and team targets against agreed profit requirements
Be a key contact for Fortinet within Exclusive Networks, developing relationships at all levels of the vendor organisation.
Manage key accounts alongside the Account Managers
Work closely with the internal & external sales teams to set and co-ordinate partner meetings
Proactively work with Exclusive Networks and Vendor marketing teams
Drive Exclusive Networks' Services conversations with partners, highlighting opportunities in which we can add value
Manage vendor pipeline
Produce monthly sales forecast reports and statistics for Exclusive Networks management and the vendor
Create a strategic annual business plan for focus partners and drive the quarterly business plan working alongside the Account Manager and Vendor Channel Team
Help create end user opportunities for the focus vendors
Work with the partner to on-board vendor through training and enablement across all relevant departments
Host regular training to educate the partner on new releases and competitive messaging
Support vendor focused activities, such as end user events and focus days
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Product Sales Specialist:
Have experience in a Sales and Account Management role ideally within the IT industry
Be Responsive, efficient and follow up leads
Have strong communication skills, with good telephone manner
Proven negotiation skills and demonstrable ability to use influencing skills to close business and sell additional products and services
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Exceptional administrative skills
Ability to learn quickly
Be engaging and holds strong relationships both internally and externally
Take responsibility for personal development with a strong desire to work to and surpass targets
