Job Description
Position: Travel:Ultrasonographer / Radiology - Days
Position Information:
Start: ASAP
SHIFT - DAYS - 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday plus occasional coverage at 7am on
Tuesday to Thursday
CALL - Weekly call rotation and call every 4th weekend
NO 48 HOUR
NO BLOCK
MAX RTO 3 DAYS
REQUIREMENTS:
ARDMS REGISTERED
BLS (AHA OR ARC)
PEDI, OB, Vascular and General experience
Scrub color Any color, other than Hunter Green
EMR - MEDHOST AND CARESTREAM
Patient ratio 8-10 in the 12 hour shift
TRAVELERS MUST BE GREATER THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY
The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
