Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, produce high-quality ultrasound images, and collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and staff. You'll provide professional, compassionate care while following department scanning protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams

• Produce accurate, high-quality images

• Follow established scanning protocols

• Interact professionally with patients, physicians, and coworkers

• Maintain attention to detail and patient safety

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program

• 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred

Certifications & Licenses

• ARDMS certification in at least one specialty (required)

• BLS certification (American Heart Association – Healthcare Provider) required

• Additional RDMS certification as required by department accreditation (ACR)

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology

• Ability to perform general ultrasound procedures

• Skilled in operating ultrasound and imaging equipment

• Professional, friendly demeanor

• Detail-oriented and accountable

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive movements

• Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching

• Visual and hearing ability to perform imaging and communicate effectively

• Comfortable using imaging equipment, computers, and medical tools
