Job Description

Job Title: Ultrasound Tech – Contract Assignment (Rifle, CO)

Location: Rifle, Colorado

Schedule: 36 hours per week | Day Shift | ASAP Start

Pay: $64.00/hour

Job Description:We’re seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a day-shift, 36-hour/week contract in beautiful Rifle, CO. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment while enjoying the charm of a scenic mountain town.

The ideal candidate will bring strong diagnostic imaging skills, professionalism, and flexibility — especially to assist with coverage during the week of Christmas to ensure continuous patient care through the holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders and facility protocols
Ensure image quality, accuracy, and appropriate patient positioning
Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to support patient care
Accurately document and report findings in the patient’s medical record
Uphold patient safety, confidentiality, and comfort at all times

Qualifications:

ARDMS certification (or equivalent) required
Current BLS certification (through AHA)
Minimum 1 year of recent ultrasound experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt and provide quality care in a contract setting
