Job Description
This is a combined posting for an Associate Ultrasound Technologist, Ultrasound Technologist, and Senior Ultrasound Technologist. The requirements for each role are listed below under the associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications. - Ultrasound Technologist: The Journeyman Registered Ultrasonographer is involved in the day-to-day operations of the Ultrasound Department within Diagnostic Imaging. The sonographer requires minimal supervision, performs diagnostic medical sonograms (both general and vascular), provides quality patient care, and assumes responsibility for all ultrasound services offered. This position works closely and communicates effectively with patients, coworkers, lead sonographers, managers, radiologists, providers, and all other clinic/hospital staff to ensure the highest quality of patient care. The employee will assist the Core Leader in meeting department goals and objectives.
- Senior Ultrasound Technologist: The Senior Registered Ultrasonographer is involved in the day-to-day operations of the Ultrasound Department within Diagnostic Imaging. The sonographer requires minimal supervision, performs diagnostic medical sonograms (both general and vascular), provides quality patient care, and assumes responsibility for all ultrasound services offered. This position works closely and communicates effectively with patients, coworkers, lead sonographers, managers, radiologists, providers, and all other clinic/hospital staff to ensure the highest quality of patient care. The employee will assist the Core Leader in meeting department goals and objectives. Additionally, the Senior Ultrasonographer performs basic and complex general and vascular ultrasound exams and procedures, providing optimal assessment and diagnostic exams for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Ultrasound Technologist Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE) or equivalent education/experience.
- Upon hire: National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Registered Technologist- Sonography.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience.
Shift Details:
- 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE), Day Shift
- 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE), Day Shift
- 36 hours per week (0.9 FTE), Night Shift
Salary Range:
- Min: $33.24
- Max: $52.61
Senior Ultrasound Technologist Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE) or equivalent education/experience.
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist- Sonography or National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 3 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience.
Shift Details:
- 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE), Evening Shift
Salary Range:
- Min: $35.26
- Max: $55.82
