Now Hiring: Unarmed Security Officers

Location: Cedar RapidsPay: $21.00/Hour

 Full Time opportunities available on all shifts, weekend availability required  Employer: Marksman Security CorporationHiring Immediately

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information.
• Enforce site rules by warning or reporting individuals violating regulations (e.g., loitering, smoking, carrying prohibited items).
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify safety and security risks.
• Respond to alarms, emergency calls, and incidents involving unauthorized individuals, injuries, or fires.
• Notify appropriate emergency services (police, fire department, EMS) when necessary.
• Accurately complete and submit reports, records, and incident documentation in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the security manager.

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Iowa Security License, including state accredited training requirements
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:• Bi-lingual considered a plus.• Weekend availability required
