Unarmed Security Officer

CBI Security ServicesPay: $19.00 per HourLocation: Near the Salt Flats / Lakeside Area, Utah (GPS: 40.915051, -112.734362)

Available Shifts

Shift 1

Tuesday – Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
(Works Monday night through Friday night)

Shift 2

Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Shift 3

Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Position Overview

CBI Security Services is seeking reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to join our team. Security Officers serve as the first line of protection for our clients' property, personnel, and assets. Successful candidates will maintain a visible security presence, observe and report suspicious activity, enforce site policies, and respond appropriately to incidents while providing exceptional customer service.

This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, observant, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a professional environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned property
Monitor buildings, grounds, equipment, and access points
Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and policy violations
Complete detailed incident, activity, and shift reports
Respond to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and client requests
Control site access and verify authorization of visitors and contractors
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Communicate effectively with clients, employees, emergency responders, and management
Follow all post orders, company policies, and client-specific procedures

Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to obtain and maintain a Utah Unarmed Security License
Ability to pass a criminal background investigation
Ability to pass a drug screening if required by the client
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer and report-writing skills
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Professional appearance and customer-service-oriented attitude
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance

Preferred Qualifications

Previous security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or public safety experience
Experience conducting patrols and writing incident reports
Familiarity with access control and emergency response procedures
