Job Description

Post Location: Downtown St. Petersburg, FLPost Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday | 2200-0600 (10:00 PM-6:00 AM)

Pay: $16.80 to start, this site will increase $17.75 per hour starting in September.

About the Post:Excelsior Defense, Inc. is seeking a highly professional and reliable Unarmed Security Officer to join our elite team at a prestigious high-rise residential tower in the heart of Downtown St. Petersburg. This post is ideal for a vigilant and customer-focused individual who excels in upscale environments and understands the importance of presence, professionalism, and proactive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a fixed post at the East Liner Main Tower and conduct hourly foot patrols throughout the property.
Monitor CCTV systems vigilantly throughout the shift.
Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) with a minimum of 8 professional-grade entries per shift.
Conduct two full QR code tour scans during each shift using the Officer Reports app.
Patrol and secure key areas including corridors, stairwells, pool deck, parking garage, amenity spaces, and common areas.
Enforce site rules, respond to incidents, and deter unwanted activity with discretion and professionalism.
Interact with residents and guests in a courteous and respectful manner, following Excelsior's standards of conduct.
Report maintenance or safety issues and document findings using appropriate protocols.

Requirements:

Valid Class D Security License (State of Florida) - required
Clean, professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to write detailed, grammatically correct reports
Strong observation and communication skills
Must possess a personal smartphone for reporting and scanning duties
Must be punctual, reliable, and capable of working independently
Prior experience in luxury residential or hospitality security is preferred
