Job Description
Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS in Nassau County, Long Island.
Locations & Shifts:
Hewlett: Saturday, Sunday 1200-2000 Payrate: $18.50
Long Beach: Saturday, Sunday 0800-1600 & Monday, Tuesday 1600-000 Payrate: $18.00/hr.
Long Beach: Wednesday - Sunday 1500-2300 Payrate: $18.00/hr.
Long Beach: Saturday & Sunday0000-0800 Payrate: $18.00/hr.
Greenvale: Friday & Saturday 2300-0700 Payrate:18.00/hr.
UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
SECURITY OFFICER / UNARMED GUARD / SECURITY GUARD REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid NYS Security Guard License.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
- Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
- Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
