Underground Storage Tank InspectorApplicants must live within 60 minutes of advertised city to be considered.Tanknology, a United Uptime Services Company, a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for experienced, energetic, hardworking Field Service Technician Apprentice. As an Underground Storage Tank (UST) Inspector Trainee, you will receive on-the-job training to gain a comprehensive understanding of fuel management for facilities with above and below-ground storage systems. Drive a company service vehicle to customer locations, often on a designated routePerform inspections of fueling facilities, including visual observations and site surveysProvide on-site training to customers or company staffConduct limited maintenance tasks based on site conditionsCapture inspection results using customized data collection software on handheld devices or laptops
What We're Looking For:
Mechanical aptitude with experience in trades (HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, electricians, carpenters, or cable technicians preferred)Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, bending, kneeling)Comfortable climbing 20 ft extension ladders multiple times dailyBasic computer skills for data entryEffective communication skillsPassion for Safety: A commitment to safety is non-negotiable. You'll prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, ensuring a secure environment for yourself and your team.Hands-On Attitude: You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. Whether it's lifting heavy equipment or troubleshooting complex issues, you're up for the challenge.Desire to Build: You're not just looking for a job - you're eager to be part of something bigger. You have a keen interest in helping to build and shape our branch from the ground up, contributing to its success and growth.Customer Service Driven: Available to be on call and capable of completing all work efficiently while maintaining strong client relationshipsAbility to travel across multiple states, occasionally staying overnight (hotel and generous per diem provided)A Strong Educational Foundation: High school diploma or GED requiredPre-Employment Testing: Must pass drug test, background, physical, and MVR check.
