We take pride in our equipment and the work we perform. 3 Forks Services strives to provide our employees with the best equipment, resources and environment available, so we can provide the highest quality of service to our customers.We are currently seeking an experienced, hardworking Underground Utility Crew to handle the installation and maintenance of critical water, sewer, and storm services. This is a high-demand role for those who aren't afraid of long hours and thrive in a team-oriented construction environment.

Underground Utility Crew Duties and Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain underground water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
Perform deep excavations and ensure proper alignment and grading of pipes using lasers and grade instruments.
Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, backhoes, and trenchers, to bury utilities safely.
Collaborate with a crew to dig trenches, lay pipe/conduit, backfill, and compact soil.
Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and confined space entry procedures.

Underground Utility Crew Requirements and Qualifications

Licensing: Valid Driver's License with a clean record; CDL is preferred but not required.
Proven Experience: Demonstrated history of installing water, sewer, and storm services.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with pipe lasers, line and grade, and fusion welding (HDPE experience is a plus).
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform manual labor (digging, kneeling, crouching) in varying weather conditions.
Safety Mindset: Knowledge of trench safety and underground utility locating.

Hours: Must be willing to work long hours to meet project deadlines.
Availability: Weekend work is required.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
