Built on a foundation of respect, integrity, and teamwork, they are known for delivering unmatched expertise in commercial drywall and framing.We are seeking a Payroll Specialist with a deep understanding of Union labor administration and Certified Payroll to join their NorCal team in Castroville.Why join us?Why Join This Team?Stability: Join a firm with an 80-year legacy and a "team-first" environment.Impact: Play a critical role in ensuring the company remains compliant on major institutional-quality projects.Culture: A company that intentionally lives out its mission and values every day.Job DetailsKey ResponsibilitiesUnion Administration: Manage weekly payroll for multiple unions, including the administration of annual wage increases and fringe benefit adjustments.Compliance Reporting: Process and report certified payroll using LCP Tracker, DIR, and other online government portals.Trust Fund Management: Prepare and process monthly reports to Union Trust Funds for hours and fringe benefits.Project Compliance: Monitor subcontractor compliance and process forms relating to Skilled & Trained Workforce, DAS 140, and Fringe Benefit Statements.Insurance Coordination: Administer enrollment and monthly reporting for UCIP/OCIP (Wrap-up) insurance programs.System Management: Utilize Penta and Austin Lane software to ensure high-volume data accuracy and job costing.What We’re Looking ForExperience: 2+ years of Union Payroll experience (Construction industry experience is highly preferred).Technical Knowledge: Proven ability to navigate Certified Payroll requirements, Prevailing Wage laws, and Federal/State withholding.Software Proficiency: Experience with LCP Tracker, DIR portals, and ERP systems (Penta, Sage, or similar). 10-key by touch is essential.Detail Oriented: Ability to research and resolve complex payroll inquiries and maintain compliance with diverse union agreements.Customer Service: Excellent communication skills to interface with field employees, foremen, and union representatives.Interested in hearing more?
