DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Inpatient Unit Clerk to support daily operations within our inpatient care unit. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient workflow, prompt communication, and an excellent experience for patients, families, and clinical staff.
HOURS
Part-time position. Monday 8:00 am-8:00 pm and Tuesday-Friday 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Duties include answering calls promptly, professionally and accurately. Maintaining and updating patient census, assist with coordinating patient flow into and out of the department, provide clerical support to ensure smooth unit operations and collaborate closely with team members to support patient care.
Requirements
Computer proficiency required. One year of experience in a hospital setting required. Current BLS certification required.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
