Supply Growth Specialist/Manager (Fleet Growth Bets)Uber is seeking a driven, persuasive, and relentlessly self-motivated Supply Growth Specialist/Manager to acquire the fleet partners that power our highest-priority Growth Bets including Elite, Uber Max, Teens, and WAV. This is a hunter role: your job is to find fleet operators, get them on the phone, qualify them, pitch them, vet them and sign them.
You will own fleet acquisition end-to-end, from first cold outreach through go-live, with a core focus on expanding and strengthening our supply base. By driving the funnel directly, you will build relationships with prospective fleet partners, identify what moves them toward activation, and create a consistent, repeatable approach to fleet acquisition. As the supply base grows, you will also help us build for scale. You will capture what converts, identify where partners stall, and develop the playbooks, processes, and tools that make outreach and onboarding more effective over time. These learnings will help shape a more scalable fleet onboarding experience, allowing the team to reach more fleets while maintaining a strong, high-touch approach where it matters most. What You'll Do
Prospecting & Outbound Outreach: Work a prioritized fleet pipeline across existing and new launch markets. Run high-volume outbound outreach cold calls, emails, and persistent follow-up to get fleet operators to the table.Discovery & Vetting: Conduct discovery calls to understand each operator's size, vehicle mix, driver base, economics, and goals. Qualify fleets against our standards and disqualify quickly so time goes to the opportunities that will actually convert.Pitching & Closing: Sell the Uber value proposition to fleet owners and operators. Handle objections, tailor the pitch to the product and market, and drive prospects to a signed agreement.Pipeline Management: Own the pipeline as the single source of truth every fleet, every stage, every next step, always current. No lead goes cold because nobody followed up.Contract Coordination: Partner with Legal to move signed-intent fleets through contracting quickly and cleanly, chasing down the signatures and documents that unblock activation.Onboarding & Activation: Coordinate onboarding of new fleets end-to-end vehicle and driver setup, documentation, and compliance requirements and validate go-live so new supply is actually on the road, not stuck in the funnel.Reporting & Performance: Deliver weekly pipeline reporting against monthly supply targets: response rates, conversion rates, cycle times, and fleets, vehicles, and drivers activated. Escalate blockers early and loudly.Voice of the Partner: Act as Uber's eyes and ears in the market. Channel what fleet operators are telling you pricing concerns, competitive offers, operational friction back to the Ops and Product teams.Playbook & Process Codification: Document the acquisition and onboarding journey, conversion funnel, and recurring blockers. Turn what works into repeatable process and functional requirements for future tooling and automation.Cross-Functional Partnership: Coordinate with Fleet Ops, Legal, Key Account Managers, City teams, and third-party vendors to support flawless product and city launches. What You'll NeedExperience: At least 2 3 years in field sales, inside sales, business development, partner acquisition, or a client-facing operations role ideally with a quota or target attached to it.Hunter Mentality: You are comfortable with cold outreach and high call volume. Rejection doesn't slow you down, and you'd rather pick up the phone than send one more email.Persuasive Communication: You're a people person. You can build rapport fast, read a room (or a call), tell a compelling story about why partnering with Uber is a good business decision, and confidently ask for the close.Grit & Autonomy: Highly self-motivated and independent. You understand your targets, find more efficient ways to hit them, and don't need reminders to complete tasks. A "no task too small" mentality.Organization & Pipeline Discipline: An obsession with follow-up and detail. You keep a large, messy pipeline clean and current, and you never let a qualified lead go dark.Problem-Solving Skills: A demonstrated background in solving customer problems and navigating ambiguity. When the playbook doesn't cover it, you figure it out and then write it down.Adaptability: Ability to stay poised and organized in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities, products, and markets shift quickly.Data Comfort: Comfortable working out of dashboards and trackers, and using funnel metrics to decide where to spend your time. Bonus points for experience with a CRM.Nice to Have: Experience in fleet, transportation, logistics, rideshare, or marketplace operations, and familiarity with driver or vehicle onboarding requirements. How You'll Be MeasuredThis role is measured on execution outcomes, not activity:
Fleet operators engaged and fleet response rateContract conversion rate and onboarding conversion rateTime from prioritized prospect to live supplyLive fleets, vehicles, and drivers activatedProgress against monthly supply targets
