What You’ll Do
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical and cognitive abilities
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately
  • Participate in patient care conferences, family education sessions, and departmental meetings
  • Supervise and assist with student and volunteer programs in the Physical Therapy department
  • Coordinate patient care to ensure high-quality coverage and outcomes
  • Support departmental performance improvement initiatives and community resource awareness
What You NeedRequired:
  • Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure
  • BLS certification from AHA
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Ability to work full-time, daytime schedule
Preferred:
  • Prior experience in inpatient rehab or acute care settings
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
About the AssignmentThis assignment involves providing physical therapy services at a prominent healthcare facility in Santa Fe, NM, focusing on assessment, treatment planning, and patient discharge. The role supports departmental program development and includes supervising student and volunteer programs.
