Job Description

Griswold Home Care of Durham-Chapel Hill is Hiring for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Position Overview:

  • Job Type: Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Responsibilities: Provide companionship and perform caregiving duties for seniors
  • Wage:  up to $17/hr (competitive compensation)
  • Benefits:

Qualifications:

  • Reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years of CNA or home care experience is a plus (caring for a loved one counts)
  • Willingness to be trained
  • Punctual, dependable, respectful, and passionate about elderly care

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible hours (day or night shifts based on client needs)
  • Opportunities for shifts ranging from 4 hours to 24 hours of care

A Day in the Life of a CNA:

  • Assist seniors with daily tasks, enabling independence
  • Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
  • Provide care for clients with cognitive impairments or dementia, including feeding and bathing
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report regularly to the office
