Join a dedicated manufacturing team as a 2nd Shift Millwork Door Assembler in Portland, ME, and make an impact every day. As a Millwork Door Assembler, you'll be responsible for putting together custom doors and windows built to order while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Work closely with your team to produce high-quality products that meet specifications and support the company's growth.What You'll Do As a Millwork Door Assembler, you will be responsible for:
- Assembling custom doors and windows based on customer specifications*
- Verifying product measurements, lengths, angles, and material specifications*
- Setting up and operating manufacturing equipment and machinery*
- Transporting raw materials and finished products within the facility*
- Performing mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and measurements*
- Maintaining quality standards to ensure products meet order requirements*
- Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe*
- Following OSHA and company safety procedures*
- Supporting production goals and assisting with inventory management*
- Cross-training in other areas and performing additional duties as needed
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)*
- Strong math aptitude, including ability to perform calculations with fractions and decimals*
- Reliable work ethic and dependable attendance*
- Willingness to learn new skills and participate actively during training*
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and perform physical tasks*
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
