You'll work closely with the production team, supporting smooth operations and contributing directly to the company's success.What You'll Do As a Parts Washer, you will be responsible for:
- Operating washing equipment to remove dirt, grease, and other contaminants from metal parts, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting pressurized washing systems for optimal performance.
- Inspecting parts for major defects and verifying cleanliness before passing them to the next production stage.
- Manually drying parts and preparing them for further processing.
- Maintaining hoses, spray guns, and cleaning equipment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborating with other departments to manage component flow and meet production deadlines.
- Following all safety protocols, including wearing safety glasses and hearing protection during your shift.
- Supporting additional tasks as needed to help meet team goals and operational needs.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and safely move up to 50 pounds.
- Physical stamina to stand for up to 80% of the shift, walk 10%, and crouch 10% as necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and a firm commitment to safety procedures.
- Comfort working in a cool environment (68-72 degrees) and wearing safety gear throughout your shift.
- Reliability, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset.
