You'll collaborate closely with the production team to uphold high standards of quality and efficiency, contributing significantly to the success of daily operations.What You'll Do As a Parts Washer, you will be responsible for:
- Operating washing equipment to effectively remove dirt, grease, and other contaminants from metal parts, ensuring they meet quality standards.*
- Maintaining and troubleshooting pressurized washing systems to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.*
- Inspecting parts for major defects and verifying cleanliness prior to advancing to the next processing stage.*
- Manually drying parts and preparing them for subsequent processing steps.*
- Maintaining hoses, spray guns, and cleaning equipment to promote safety and maximize productivity.*
- Coordinating with other departments to manage component flow and keep production on schedule.*
- Following all safety protocols, including wearing safety glasses and hearing protection throughout your shift.*
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support team goals and operational efficiency.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.*
- The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely.*
- Physical stamina to stand for up to 80% of the shift, walk 10%, and crouch 10% as needed.*
- Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to safety procedures.*
- The ability to work comfortably in a cool environment (68-72 degrees) and wear safety gear for the entire shift.*
