Urology Physician - Locum Tenens OpportunityAre you a dedicated Urologist seeking a flexible and impactful assignment? This position offers a unique chance to apply your expertise while enjoying a supportive work environment and competitive compensation.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly qualified Urology Physician to cover outpatient clinics and surgical procedures for up to 12 weeks due to an ongoing medical leave. The role involves providing clinic and operating room coverage from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess an active New Mexico medical license and a clean professional history to obtain temporary privileges promptly. Candidates should be available to start in November or December, with a preference for those able to commit at least two weeks per month to ensure seamless patient care continuity.Required Skills:

• Valid and active medical license in New Mexico
• Certification in Urology and Board Eligibility or Certification
• Proven experience performing outpatient urology clinics and surgical procedures
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clean professional background and ability to obtain temporary privileges

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with advanced urological techniques or minimally invasive procedures
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Previous locum tenens or temporary assignment experience
• Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of Urology residency program
• At least 3 years of post-residency clinical experience

Other Requirements:

• Must have a current New Mexico medical license
• Ability to provide clinic and surgical coverage as required
• Availability to start between November and December 2025
• No call responsibilities required
• Willingness to commit at least one week per month, with two weeks preferred
