Urology Physician

• Provide comprehensive urological care for adult patients (18+)
• Support level 4 trauma cases with all general urology skills
• Manage consultations, perform procedures such as stents, stones, clot evacuations, and more
• Conduct call coverage only, ensuring patient needs are met during scheduled shifts
• Work primarily during day shifts, with overnight coverage (24-hour shifts)

Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Urology
• Valid state medical license (IMLC or eligible for WV temporary license)
• DEA certification
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
• Ability to handle all general urology procedures competently

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional specialty certifications or advanced procedural skills
• Experience working in trauma or high-acuity hospital environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• At least 2 years of Urology practice post-residency
• Prior work in trauma or emergency care settings

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to obtain state licensure (if not already licensed)
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• Availability for multiple scheduled shifts throughout the year, including weekends and holidays
• Must adhere to all hospital policies and safety protocols
