US - Sr Engineering Technician

Title: Sr Engineering Technician Location: Torrance, CA

Salary Range: $38 - $40/hr. (Competetive)

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team. This role requires a strong background in pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing, hydraulic testing, and valve testing. The position is on the 2nd shift (swing) from Thursday through Monday, 2:30 pm to 11 pm.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school degree or its equivalent with 4-6 years of experience in the field.
• Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Capability to perform a variety of complicated tasks.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
• Applicants must be US citizens and able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience directing and leading the work of others.
• Demonstrated creativity and latitude in problem-solving.
• Prior experience with pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure tests, hydraulic tests, and valve testing.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Study and record time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency.
• Establish a standard production rate in the performance of maintenance, production, clerical, and other worker operations.
• Report to a manager or head of a unit/department.
