EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIANS WANTED

Commerce Chevrolet is hiring experienced A-Level, B-Level, and C-Level Used Car Automotive Technicians / Mechanics to join our team.

If you are an experienced technician who can diagnose, repair, and properly recondition used vehicles, we want to talk to you.

PAY: $28.50 $51.00 PER HOUR

Compensation is based on experience, skill level, certifications, and demonstrated ability.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 4 years of professional automotive mechanic/technician experience

• A-Level, B-Level, and experienced C-Level technicians encouraged to apply

• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair abilities

• Experience working on multiple makes and models

• Ability to perform used-vehicle inspections and reconditioning

• Valid driver's license

• Dependable and professional

• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

• Must have your own basic technician tools

OEM CERTIFICATIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED

GM/Chevrolet or other manufacturer certifications are a major plus, but they are not required.

ASE CERTIFICATIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED

ASE certifications are highly valued and preferred, but experienced technicians without ASE certifications are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for technicians who can do the job-not simply technicians with certificates on the wall.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending on experience level, responsibilities may include:

• Used vehicle inspections and reconditioning

• Engine diagnostics and repair

• Transmission and drivetrain diagnosis

• Brake repair

• Steering and suspension

• Electrical and electronic diagnosis

• Heating and air-conditioning systems

• Check-engine-light and drivability diagnosis

• Preventive maintenance

• Repairing domestic and import vehicles

• Accurately diagnosing needed repairs

• Completing repairs correctly and efficiently
