Role Overview
The Used Car Sales Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the pre-owned sales department. This position focuses on inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategy, team development, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while achieving dealership profitability goals.

Used Car Sales Manager Job Responsibilities
Lead and develop the used vehicle sales team
Manage vehicle inventory levels, acquisition strategies, and aging inventory
Monitor pricing and market trends to maximize profitability
Conduct daily sales meetings and coaching sessions
Structure deals and assist with closing opportunities
Work closely with Finance, Service, and Marketing departments
Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards
Analyze sales reports, KPIs, and departmental performance metrics
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
