Used Car Technician

Luther Burnsville Volkswagen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Used Car Technician to join our dynamic team.

$28-$60/hour (Incentive-Based)

This is a full-time position offering a flexible schedule, weekly commission, and top pay in the auto industry. As a Used Car Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests, maintenance, and repairs on used vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards of quality. Responsibilities:

• Inspect used vehicles and diagnose any issues or potential problems
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on used cars to ensure they meet safety and quality standards
• Test drive vehicles to identify any performance issues
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed
• Communicate with vehicle owners and provide recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance
• Collaborate with team members to improve overall efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience as a used car technician or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical components
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
