Unemployment Insurance Tax or public sector experience is highly preferred.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Lead to lead User Acceptance Testing strategy, planning, and execution for a large-scale Unemployment Insurance Tax modernization initiative, ensuring business, regulatory, and operational requirements are met prior to production deployment. This position will be a full-time contract and hybrid in Newark, DE.What You'll DoDefine and own the overall UAT strategy, test approach, entry and exit criteria, and acceptance sign-off process for the Salesforce UI Tax platformDevelop the UAT master plan, schedule, and resource model aligned to program release cyclesTranslate business requirements, legacy mainframe functionality, and Salesforce UI Tax configurations into testable acceptance criteria and test scenariosEstablish traceability between legacy functionality, business requirements, user stories, and UAT test casesLead development of UAT test scripts and scenarios covering employer registration, wage reporting, tax rate computation, benefit charging, delinquency and penalty processing, appeals, refunds, and correspondenceCoordinate parallel testing and reconciliation between legacy mainframe outputs and Salesforce outputs to validate data conversion accuracy and calculation parityCollaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to ensure testing accurately reflects business requirements and regulatory standardsManage defect triage, prioritization, tracking, and resolution activities in partnership with Salesforce development teams and mainframe subject matter expertsCoordinate closely with project teams and vendor partners to support timely defect resolution and retesting activitiesSupport compliance with applicable security, privacy, and regulatory requirements when testing sensitive financial and personally identifiable informationFacilitate stakeholder meetings, testing workshops, status reviews, and readiness assessmentsProvide regular testing status updates, risk assessments, and go-live readiness recommendations to leadership and governance teamsSupport production readiness activities and obtain formal business sign-off for deploymentWhat You'll NeedRequired:5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance2+ years of experience leading User Acceptance Testing efforts for enterprise implementations2+ years of experience with Salesforce implementations including Salesforce, Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Salesforce Government Cloud, or related platformsExperience supporting legacy mainframe to cloud or CRM modernization projectsExperience with data conversion validation, reconciliation testing, and parallel testing activitiesExperience managing business subject matter expert testers across multiple departments or business unitsExperience coordinating cross-functional teams including business, quality assurance, development, and data conversion resourcesProficiency with testing and defect management tools such as Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps, Client ALM, Micro Focus ALM, or qTestStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience presenting project status and testing results to leadership and governance boardsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experienceExperience working in consulting or professional services environments with evolving priorities and project requirementsPreferred:Experience supporting state or public sector technology programsKnowledge of Unemployment Insurance Tax business processes including employer registration, wage reporting, contribution calculations, tax rate determination, benefit charging, and appeals processingSalesforce certifications including Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, or Salesforce Public Sector Solutions SpecialistISTQB, Certified Test Manager, or related testing certificationExperience working within Agile or SAFe delivery methodologiesExperience supporting Unemployment Insurance modernization, benefits modernization, Medicaid modernization, or similar government transformation programs
