Job Details:Job Title: UX/UI Designer Digital Product DesignLocation: Kohler, WI (Possible Remote as well)Duration: 6+ MonthsType: Full-Time, ContractShift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CSTNote: Portfolio required must demonstrate attention to detail, UX/UI design acumen, design rationale, research, and responsive digital environments.Description:A global brand is looking for a UX/UI Designer to solve customer experience pain points through great design for consumer and professional-facing websites and web applications. In this role, you will combine knowledge and passion for efficient design flows and experiences that are simple and intuitive in support of business and user goals. You will utilize design thinking and user-centric methodologies, along with the Design System and accessibility compliance, in the delivery of holistic designs and prototypes. You will leverage UX research and journey mapping to understand the customer and optimize touchpoints across the customer journey, and contribute to best practices within the discipline.Top 5-7 Skills:
- Figma Design and robust Design Systems
- UX/UI design for responsive web (wireframes, prototypes, process flows)
- UX research methods (stakeholder interviews, usability studies, surveys)
- Mobile-first and AI future-ready mindset
- Accessibility standards and compliance
- Cross-functional collaboration (Product Managers, Platform Design System, Business Stakeholders)
- Production design support and A/B testing
- Bachelor's degree in a Design-related discipline (digital product design, graphic design, visual design, service design, interaction design, human factors, information architecture, etc.)
- 1 3 years of experience
- Experience with Figma Design and robust Design Systems
- Understanding of UX methodologies, including UX research methods
- Conceptual thinking skills, a mobile-first, AI future-ready mindset
- Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- A self-starter with a learner's mindset and ability to work independently and follow direction
- Ability to build relationships, establish trust, collaborate, and execute effectively to meet deadlines
- Understanding of research methods and accessibility standards
- Portfolio required
- Bachelor's degree in a Design-related discipline
- 1 3 years of relevant UX/UI design experience
- Or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
- Experience in eCommerce or digital product design
- Experience with Miro, UserTesting, and Journey Track
- Experience supporting A/B testing in partnership with Digital Product Owner
- This role involves multi-tasking across different projects and adapting to changing priorities.
- The designer will become an expert in the Design System, leveraging and extending established patterns and assets.
