Job Description
SR Contracts Manager (REMOTE): 1st SHIFT: 8 am -5 pm Pay Rate: $48.94/hr This role will support Supply Chain Contracts and is a strategic partner within the Supply Chain organization. This position coordinates with business partners for supply chain contract matters, manages a portfolio of supplier contracts, communicates with supply chain leadership to develop, implement, and execute on strategic contract initiatives to achieve business objectives.Primary Responsibilities:
- Drafts, generates, negotiates, interprets, and manages contract documents, in accordance with internal and external customer schedules and requests.*
- Works with program managers to draft Master Terms Agreements, Purchase Agreements, flow down provisions, assertion letters, settlement agreements and other related agreements.*
- Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters, including government procurement and cost control guidelines.*
- Uses legal resources and other subject matter experts to ensure all levels of risk are recognized and addressed through contract terms and conditions*
- Identifies opportunities to streamline workflow and improve quality of work product.*
- Track and report key functional metrics to improve effectiveness.*
- Maintains historical legal records.*
- Briefs Management and other functional areas on contract status, risk mitigation and contingency plans based on developed recommendations.
- Bachelors Degree with 5 years of experience *
- Advanced Degree and 3 years of relevant experience *
- In the absence of a degree, 9 years of experience is Required*
- (8 hour day M-F) Looking for a candidate who has Contracts experience and has a good attitude, willing to learn and hit the ground running.
