The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Level II Phased Array Ultrasonic Technician (PAUT) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a technician who values technical excellence, autonomy, and consistent work while contributing to high-profile industrial projects. You'll work with industry-leading equipment, collaborate with skilled professionals, and be supported by leadership hat understands the field - not just the paperwork.What You'll Do
- Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) in accordance with ASME, API, and AWS codes
- Conduct equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance
- Interpret and evaluate inspection data, calculations, and results
- Prepare clear, accurate technical reports
- Work independently in the field while collaborating with project teams
- Travel to job sites as required
- ASNT Level II PAUT certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified Level II PAUT technician
- Certifiable to PAUT Level II in accordance with regulation
- Hands on experience with PAUT equipment and software:
- OMNI X3
- OmniPC
- BeamTool
- WeldSight
- Strong understanding of ASME, API and AWS codes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Background in utility, oil & gas, or power industries
