Job Description

Pay: $55-60/hr Responsibilities: Work in an agile environment, partnering closely with product owners, product designers, engineers, content designers, marketers, analysts, and researchers. Identify content opportunities by using content design and strategy methods to enhance user experience through information architecture and language use. Write concise, effective content that adheres to guidelines for tone and voice, follows established standards, and uses language best practices for the given channel/medium. Continuously seek and integrate user feedback to evaluate UX effectiveness and determine where and how to optimize content. Coordinate across multiple projects and workstreams, learning a complex product ecosystem and collaborating with other teams to ensure a seamless user experience. Requirements: 3-5 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Required Skills: Experience working on complex applications or tools. Highly collaborative with strong communication skills, able to work in a complex, cross-functional environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively on large projects while giving and taking feedback from both junior and senior design partners. Experience working on design teams with a proven track record of successfully delivering content for internal-facing digital applications. Supported multiple agile software engineering teams in a scrum methodology environment. Ability to employ content design and strategy methods and tools like content audits, competitive assessments, quantitative analysis, design thinking exercises, user research, persona development, etc. Analytical skills with a love for synthesizing complex information. Portfolio of written work demonstrating creativity, problem-solving, business impact, and results. Preferred Skills: Insurance, financial services, or healthcare experience is a large plus. Experience with Figma preferred. Benefits: 12 months contract with possible extension.
