Role SummaryWe are seeking a UX Content Writer to join a collaborative Product and UX team focused on creating intuitive, customer-centered digital experiences. This is a true product design role that sits at the intersection of content, usability, and experience design, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving user problems through thoughtful and purposeful communication.The successful candidate will work closely with UX designers, product managers, researchers, and developers to craft content that helps users navigate digital experiences with confidence. You'll play a critical role in shaping customer journeys, reducing friction, and ensuring consistency across web and mobile products. Key Responsibilities
- Write and refine in-product content, including navigation labels, buttons, forms, error messages, onboarding experiences, notifications, and help content.*
- Collaborate with UX designers throughout the design process to shape user flows, interactions, and information hierarchy through content.*
- Translate complex processes, requirements, and user needs into clear, concise, and actionable interface copy.*
- Apply user research insights and customer feedback to improve content effectiveness and usability.*
- Maintain and evolve voice, tone, terminology, and editorial standards across digital products.*
- Contribute to content design systems, reusable content patterns, governance frameworks, and style guidelines.*
- Partner with product managers, researchers, developers, legal teams, marketing stakeholders, and other business partners to align content with user and business goals.*
- Participate in usability testing, design reviews, content audits, and experimentation efforts to continuously improve user experiences.*
- Review implemented experiences to ensure accuracy, accessibility, consistency, and adherence to content standards.
- 3+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, product content strategy, or a similar digital product-focused role.*
- Demonstrated experience working directly with UX designers, product managers, researchers, and developers throughout the product development lifecycle.*
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX writing, content design, interface copy, and problem-solving within digital product experiences.*
- Proven ability to write concise, user-centered microcopy for complex workflows across web and mobile applications.*
- Experience simplifying technical or complex concepts into clear and actionable user guidance.*
- Familiarity with collaborative design tools such as Figma or similar product design platforms.*
- Understanding of user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-informed content decision making.*
- Working knowledge of information architecture, interaction design principles, and accessibility best practices.*
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within agile product environments.*
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience writing content for consumer-facing web and mobile products.*
- Background supporting e-commerce, loyalty, ordering, delivery, retail, or transaction-driven digital experiences.*
- Experience contributing to design systems, content standards, editorial guidelines, or reusable content frameworks.*
- Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive content design principles.*
- Understanding of agile product development methodologies and cross-functional product team workflows.*
- Experience using AI-enabled content tools responsibly while maintaining editorial quality and brand standards.*
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, UX, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
