Position: UX Designer
- Senio Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration: 250 Days Contract + Possible Extension Job Description: Scope: Require a senior UX Designer with 8+ years of experiences to provide digital expertise and skills that support the transformation of online internal and public facing web services By working with key stakeholders and as part of the project team, take a lead role in the digital transformation/design of a new user centric public website to serve the needs of the citizens of Ontario and an intranet site for internal judicial users. Resumes Evaluation/Criteria: Criteria 1: Technical Skills
- 40 Points Experience in technical and functional design and architecture, especially for applications on Cloud and SaaS, experience with cloud technologies Hands on experience in working with web technologies such as WordPress, WordPress Plugins, HTML5, knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, NodeJS, Golang, Web frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and other emerging web technologies Knowledge of interaction design principles and using industry tools such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Zeplin, OmniGraffle Criteria 2: Functional Knowledge
- 35 Points Experience in working with technical and business partners in creating information architecture, sitemaps Experience in identifying user needs and understand how users consume and navigate content, prepare documentation to that effect Experience in designing usable, intuitive user interfaces for large projects Criteria 3: Systems Analysis
- 20 Points Knowledge of usability factors in Human computer interaction Knowledge of web usability and accessibility standards Strong communication, negotiation skills and ability to participate and lead discussions with business/senior leadership and judiciary on usability making solution recommendations and document/explain work Mandatory Requirements: At least 8 years of experience in UX Design for large business transformation systems; specifically experience with user support flows for internal and public facing web services Share the Portfolio of previous experience of the candidate.
